By downloading, installing, or using the Website Monitor browser extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.

Website Monitor is open-source software distributed under the MIT License.

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files, to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions of the MIT License.

3. Use of the Extension

You act as the sole user and controller of the Extension. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Extension to monitor websites complies with:

  • The terms of service of the websites you are monitoring.
  • All applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

You agree not to use the Extension for any purpose that is illegal, unethical, or causes damage to the websites being monitored (e.g., creating excessive load or "Denial of Service" attacks).

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. We are not responsible for any data loss, missed notifications, or incorrect data reported by the Extension.
